Why Choose Our Metal CNC Machining

Machinability Evaluation

We help evaluate machinability risks such as incompatible surface finishes or inadequate material performance.

Material Recommendation

Our engineers can recommend material families and grades based on performance and operating environment.

Difficult-Material Tooling

Solid carbide and coated-carbide cutting tools support difficult-to-machine materials such as Inconel.

Cost-Aware Processing

Machining strategy and material utilization are reviewed to reduce avoidable material and cycle-time cost.

FAQ

Popular Questions

Common questions about material selection, custom parts and complex CNC machining projects.

Can you machine materials other than those listed?

Yes. The listed materials are common customer requests. If your material is not shown, send us the grade and drawing for review.

Is it more expensive to machine difficult-to-machine materials?

Generally yes. Hard-to-machine materials can require special heat treatment, solid-carbide tools and slower cutting parameters, increasing tooling and cycle-time cost.

Do I need to buy materials myself for custom parts?

You can supply your own material or let us source it. Having us source the material can make the project easier to manage.
